Clean and efficient transportation provides tenants with affordable options to commuting while also reducing carbon emissions. Unico encourages the use of many types of transportation to lessen the impact of pollution and congestion. We offer car-sharing, vanpools, and electric vehicle charging in many of our parking garages.
In partnership with the U.S Department of Energy (DOE) and the National EV Project, Unico was proud to provide the first commercially available electric vehicle charging stations in Washington state, located at Rainier Square garage in downtown Seattle. Since 2011, Unico has installed 28 electric vehicle charging stations at properties across our portfolio.
In addition to championing mass transit and alternative commuting options, biking is a corporate passion. Bike parking is free to tenants at all of our office properties, with showers and lockers also available at most office buildings.

Unico supports Seattle Climate Partnership, Climate Solutions, and Commute Seattle to help reduce carbon emissions. Additionally, Unico is a founding member of the Seattle 2030 District and Denver 2030 District, which are working on sustainable transportation alternative with local transit authorities.
