Unico purchased the Boeing Commercial Airplane HQ facility at Longacres from Boeing in December 2021. The 158-acre site in Renton is the renowned former Longacres horse-racing track and now contains nearly 1 million square feet of commercial office, a daycare facility, central utility plant servicing the campus, and +50 acres of developable land.
Prior to closing, Unico sourced, negotiated, and signed a lease with Seattle Sounders FC to make Longacres home to the team’s new training facility and office headquarters. With the Sounders as the key anchor tenant and community partner, Unico cast a bold vision to recreate Longacres as a transit-oriented district.
