Unico Sustainability is a division of Unico Properties focused on creating experiences that promote human health and productivity, protect the natural environment, and increase economic returns for our partners. We do this by deploying a sophisticated palette of development and operating solutions for new construction, major renovation, and existing building projects across a variety of building uses and typologies.
Sustainable Development
We advise investors, developers, tenants, owner-occupiers, and architects on sustainable design solutions and land use incentives related to site selection and orientation, energy efficiency, renewable energy, indoor and outdoor water reduction, material selection, indoor air quality, recycling systems, and clean transportation.
Sustainable Operations
We integrate high-performing sustainable operations into our property management services, which include strategies such as utility benchmarking and reporting, energy, water, and waste management, renewable energy procurement, green cleaning, green leasing, and clean transportation, among other strategies.
Certifications
We provide project management services for green building certifications, including LEED, WELL, and Living Building projects for new construction, core and shell, commercial interiors, multifamily, hospitality, and existing buildings.
